Default time zone for recording contributions

When recording a new contribution, the screen defaults to today's date and current time. But the current time is in the wrong time zone. (Its always 1 hour ahead).  Where can I configure the CiviCRM time zone?   The Drupal time zone is already set correctly.

(CiviCRM version 3.4.2)

There is no timezone configuration in CiviCRM. CiviCRM picks up / set defaults from your server time.
