VADD Direct Debit?

Has anyone used VADD Direct Debit in connection with CiviCRM?     I would like to know if its possible to record the transactions/donations that occur via the Direct Debit system can be easily recorded in the person's contact record in CiviCRM.   There are also some donations they get every month via a "Standing order"

Any suggestions on how the contribution data can be stored in CiviCRM?
