How does something get made a Make It Happen project? And what does a 20-hour estimate mean in money terms? Superficially it sounds like the sort of thing that could easily be split up and funded by a MIH.

A MIH happens if a seed funder steps forward and there is enough community support, I believe. The current consulting rates vary from $125 to $175 an hour depending on the expertise needed.

Hi
Our organisation how has a fairly urgent need for this on Joomla 1.7/Civi 4 and might consider at least seed funding the MIH initiative. I'd be grateful to hear from the Civi team how much we'd need to find to justify this as a MIH initiative and from any other organisations who might be interested in helping.

Thanks.

If you have a fairly urgent need for this, you might just want to hire a development shop and get them to work on it. Its a fairly small project (20 hours or so)

An MIH is a much longer process and it will be part of 4.1 IF it is fulfilled, and the alpha is not expected till nov
