Getting rid of Civicrm form in new Drupal user registration
July 01, 2011, 09:35:41 am
I have a Drupal site that's still running Civi 3.1.3 - I haven't upgraded because I really don't use Civi on that site much any more.

Anyway, I'm just now allowing site users to create new Drupal accounts for themselves, but I don't want them to have to fill out the "event registration" form that is appearing at the bottom.  They can't skip it altogether because it has a mandatory phone number field on it.  The presence of this form must be because of a setting somewhere, because it's not happening on another Drupal site I have that runs Civi (probably the newest version).

Can you help me find the setting to turn off this behavior?

Thanks!

Sure - it is a setting in Profile which is under Customise in the Administer menu.

On the Drupal sign up page the civi profile should show its name eg Name and Address - look for this in the list of Profiles, click on settings, at top there should be boxes for what the Profile is to be used for.

Remove the check from Create Drupal User or Drupal User Create or whatever it is called.

Good luck
