I'm working as the administrator for a not-for-profit school and have been using Civi CRM to track things like student teacher relationships, exams and membership fees.

I want to create a resource page for students and a resource page for faculty with access that is limited by the group they are part of.  I know you can limit custom profiles by group so I'm sure its possible to do.

Our web designer is currently away(And he's not a developer anyway so he'd just fudge through it).

So it is down to me armed with a sparse knowledge of Javascript, a smattering of php and the determination to learn what I gotta learn to get the job done.

Any ideas on how I can do it or learn how to do it?
