Drupal democracy forum + CivicCRM

Will Drupal democracy forum distribution work well with the CivicCRM for Drupal? We want to build a community oriented website for a NGO that we will be involved in political organizing. Do you think these combination will be an effective solution?

Yes. CiviCRM's only requirement is Drupal 5.x which is what the democracy forum is designed for. Note that we do not integrate with any of the other drupal modules that are shipped with the democracy forum
