Permissions to Record PAyment
July 06, 2011, 07:36:28 am
I'm sure this is out there somewhere, I just can't find it.
We have a role assigned in Drupal called "event Participant Manager"
We want this role to be able to register new participants via CiviCRM event management (https://<DOMAIN>/civicrm/participant/add?reset=1&action=add&context=standalone

Logged in as administrator, I have an option to record a payment.
Logged in as an Event Participant Manager, I do not have this option

Where/How to I grant access to Event Participant Managers to record a payment?

I have the exact same issue.
Only someone with administrative access is able to record payment.

I am not able to find this back either. Is there a way to give access through ACL?
I created a role and then linked several ACL's to it that gave full access over my contacts and all events. µ
but that did not make any difference either.

what am I missing?

No one any idea on this?
it would seem only logical that NON-admin accounts should be able to register payments for event etc.
No one ever ran into this before?

thanks for your assistance.

Hi,

still did not find this but I could really use some help   :-\
I can't give full admin rights to the people that need to administer payment. They should be able to record payment though...

any help on this would be much appreciated.

I gave it another look today. Browsed through the wiki again and was reminded that payment for events is also handled as a contribution.

So I gave the following 2 roles to the drupal group that needs to handle payments for our events, and that made the 'record payment' become available.

CiviContribute: access CiviContribute
CiviContribute: edit contributions

So there you go, found it myself! :)
