Payment gate way integration
July 07, 2011, 03:22:53 am
I am using the civic event for my online registration in my application and payment gateway as paypal, now the payment details appears in the first  page of the registration , with there are many custom fields that i have created for the online registration. Is there is any way to  have the payment details in some other page to make it more user friendly.

There is documentation on the wiki for how to copy information into the billing fields from similar fields elsewhere on the form. You can change which fields are displayed by removing them from the profile you created and added to this contribution page. Alternatively, you can try to custom program your own checkout system. I would question doing the latter, as the current process is appropriate in that it asks for data to input, gets confirmation before submitting, and then thanks the donor. This is a good flow for most purposes.

If some of the information you want to collect is not necessary for the donation, then you could specify a landing page where those fields could be filled in and submitted if donors wanted as the thank-you page.
