PDF Attachment causing issues with multiple participant registrations

CiviCRM version 3.3.6:
When registering multiple participants for an event, the PDF attachment for multiple confirmation emails seemed to cause resource issues.  The user was bounced to the front page, rather than seeing the Thank You screen.

Commenting out the following line in CRM/Event/BAO/Event.php fixed this issue for me (Ln 1063):
PDFFilename' => 'eventReceipt.pdf'
