Editing or Previewing Prices Set Fields gives 'non recoverable error'
July 09, 2011, 04:07:00 pm
Hi - hit this problem and took a look in the DB to see if i could see anything wrong - thought it was something i had done incorrectly

Just replicated in Demo - I should have checked to see if the default Price Set gave the same error before adding mine.

If you click on Edit Price Field on any of the 3 in Demo you get

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
We experienced an unexpected error. Please post a detailed description and the backtrace on the CiviCRM forums: http://forum.civicrm.org/

eg at http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/price/field?action=update&reset=1&sid=&fid=11

If you click on Preview on any of them you get

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
One of parameters (value: ) is not of the type Integer

The only odd behaviour i spotted was that when adding a new option to an already saved Field, while it had the 'weight' as eg 4 it would put it in 2nd place in in the db it had a weight of '1'

Actually just spotted that i am now not getting the errors - so some combination of perhaps using 'save and add new' is causing the SID to lose its value since i see this is missing in the above URL

Just so there is some evidence that this wasn't just a case of a long night causing hallucinations - here is a screen shot from demo
