Fresh install(upgrade) then migrate data
July 11, 2011, 08:18:49 pm
Hi everybody,

I'm dealing with a legacy civi system(3.2.2) and I would like to upgrade civi to 4. Instead of running an upgrade and risk dragging any issues related to the legacy system with it. I would like to migrate the data to the new database manually. There is little custom data to keep and this would merely be a test to see whether this would work for me.

Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

Thanks.
