Upgrade from 3.1.x to 4.0.x - Drupal and Civi considerations
July 12, 2011, 12:04:07 pm
I am preparing to upgrade a CiviCRM 3.1.5 installation to 4.0.4.  In the process I will upgrade to MySQL 5.1, PHP 5.3, and Drupal 7.4 in that order, then proceed with the CiviCRM upgrade.  The server has no third-party Drupal or CiviCRM modules, so I believe this upgrade will not be complicated as such.

I didn't see much discussion on the forum after Andrew Perry's experience on upgrading to Drupal 7/CiviCRM 7.  Comments and battle stories from those who survived the upgrade, especially in a virtual hosting production environment.

Thanks Lobo!  Has the dev team seen any problems with PHP 5.2?
