Need COUNTY in my reports, DESPERATELY- not in criteria

What's the easiest way for me to get COUNTY to show up in my report criteria.  It seems like every other contact field is there!  But all of the crucial reporting is by county.

So TWO questions:

1.  How can I get it in the list of displayable fields?
2.  How can I get it to be a selection criteria?  My only selection criteria now is based on contact name!  That doesn't help with any reports that we need.

What report are you talking about?

The code for reports is usually easy to follow.
Our book has a chapter about custom reports that might help you
