Geocoding Provider Change / Shutdown of Service

I'm trying to get geocoding working right now, and noticed on the yahoo maps API website this announcement:

We are shutting down this service on September 13, 2011. We suggest using maps from our partner Nokia. Please visit the Ovi Maps API for more information.

I'm guessing that this Ovi Maps will have a similar API etc. 

Also there is another product called "Placefinder" from yahoo which is said to replace the yahoo maps api geocoding feature.

It has a limit of 50,000 requests/per day, which seems a lot better than google's limit.

Would be good if you could investigate the switch to the new solution.

Someone mentioned that google  has an api that doesn't require a key anymore, so I'm assuming it's lifting the limit as well.
