Hi,

I'm getting conflicting messages and not sure how to fix this.

I have this warning message:
Warning: file_put_contents(%%templateCompileDir%%/mail.log) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in CRM_Utils_Mail->logger() (line 222 of /home/enews/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Utils/Mail.php).

Along with this message:
Your SMTP settings are correct. A test email has been sent to your email address. 

I'm not getting the email message from the save and test although it says it was sent. We've upgrade to Civi 4.0.1 and Drupal 7.0 and this is a new error message. I could use CiviMail and email features before without any issues.
