i have created a volunteer profile which is of type Volunteer and Contact and that can be used for
-drupal registration
- View/Edit Drupal User Account
- profiles
but when i am trying to register new user in drupal. the new user is registered under Individual Contact type instead of Volunteer Contact type .
so how can i change registration details from Individual Contact type to Volunteer Contact type .
please help me out.

This might be a limitation of Drupal integration that assumes a new Drupal user is always of contact type "individual". That is my guess. I will let some of the core team speak to that further. If you can't get ahold of them in the forums, try copying and pasting the URL to this forum post into the IRC channel.
