500 error when trying to access CiviCRM admin pages
July 20, 2011, 01:07:30 pm
I just installed CiviCRM in my Drupal 7 site. Installation appeared to go just fine but whenever I try to access the admin pages for CiviCRM I get a 500 Error. The Apache error log says the following...

[20-Jul-2011 16:00:04] PHP Fatal error:  require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'DRUPAL_ROOT/includes/errors.inc' (include_path='.:/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/3rivers/sites/all/modules/civicrm/:/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/3rivers/sites/all/modules/civicrm//packages:.:/Applications/MAMP/bin/php5.3/lib/php') in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/3rivers/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/Controller.php on line 332

I am using MAMP on a Mac.

Please help!!  :'(

Do you have the file /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/3rivers/includes/errors.inc on your system?

I was hoping someone else would reply, because I don't really have more idea. :(

What is your PHP version however?

Well.. well.. well... I got it to work! LOL

I switched to PHP version 5.2.17 and it works! Is it not supposed to work with 5.3.5 yet?

No, it should run with 5.3.5. Not sure what your issue was, but if it's working now, then good. :)
