Rich Text Editor Disappears
July 22, 2011, 08:00:29 am
Running Civi 3.4.4 on Drupal 6.22 set up multisite. One site is a dedicated Civicrm database site, the others are traditional sites. The rich text editor was working fine until after I installed CKeditor and WYSYIG modules at sites/all/modules for use by all sites the rich text editor in civi disappears. I have set default editor in Civi to CKeditor, but still no work, works on all other sites though.

Do you see any JS errors? Check in Firebug.

I get a "CkEditor is not defined" error.

It is listed on line 761 of source which is:                     if ( CKEDITOR.instances['html_message'] ) {

Ckeditor is selected as WYSWYG editor in admin settings.

Look in the Net tab of Firebug when the page loads and see if any URLs fail to load.

Thanks for the help.

It appears that two urls fail to load, ckeditor.js and arrow.png at exampleserver.example.com. All of the other correctly loaded urls point to example.com, so I am assuming that the difference in dns names is responsible.

Can you tell me where I can change these settings?
