To clarify, this addresses the issues of state and county selection in batch updates.  Some others on this thread were having problems with regular profile forms, which appear to be working fine.  However, it's easy to get confused with location type--if your profile has Country/Home and State/Home and you add County/Primary, the county field won't respond to changes in the state field--it's looking for State/Primary.  (This is so things don't get screwed up when you have multiple addresses in a profile.)
