Author Topic: CiviCRM 4.0.4 Error: Select a location type of Billing (Read 824 times)

Hi,

I read up on a lot of similar cases in the forum but despite a few possible solutions and even some changes in the code (I did not try those as they were for v3.4.x and I have 4.04) I still hqve this issue where my contribution page throws an error: "Select a location type of Billing".

I have the latest stable CiviCRM installed on a Joomla 1.6 site that is pretty standard in any other way.
it is a test server and I set it up specifically for CiviCRM testing.

My contribution page does not have donations. Only 1 membership is possible for which I will accept offline payment through cash or bank transfer. So not even any credit card modules either.

I imported 90 users into my Joomla usergroup which I then imported into my contacts also. They all have a main address set and the option to use that address as the billing address.

But the error remains.

What else can I try?

common guru's? I cannot imagine that I' m the only one with this issue as it keeps turning up after several retries to rebuild from scratch...

anyone?

and fixed in 3.4, which will be merged in 4

Since Erik has committed the fix, you can grab a patch from Fisheye tab. This code is the same for 3.4.x and 4.0.x.
