attaching a profile to civicontribute page

Hi.
I have this in my profile:

Used ForUser Registration View/Edit User Account Profile Search Results  [ x ] CiviContribute [ x ] CiviEvent

I would like to check CiviContribute but it is an x. How can I get this to change so that I can check it?

You can not actually check [ x ] CiviContribute [ x ] CiviEvent options, they show automatically with Used For when you configure this profile with Custom Page Elements for Contribution Page or Online Registration for Event Page
