Hi,
I'm trying to install the new civicrm 4.0.4 on a joomla 1.5 website. I have unzipped the file and uploaded to my tmp file on the server. Ive made sure that my php.ini file has enough resources, memory to 128mb. See attached
PHP Version 5.2.5
Mysql 5.0.92

When i try the install, it gives the ff error

Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package. Path does not have a valid package.

Don't know what to do, please help

my apologes, i should have read on the download page, answer is right there...

I can only use version 3.4 on joomla 1.5, dohh!! Installed perfectly!!, please close

The current stable version of CiviCRM is 3.4 / 4.0. CiviCRM distributions are freely available for download from our SourceForge project download pages. You will need to know which host Content Management software (CMS) and which version you are using. CiviCRM 3.4 is compatible with Drupal version 6.x and Joomla! version 1.5.x. CiviCRM 4.0 is compatible with Drupal version 7.x and Joomla! version 1.6.x.
