Search Results Profile not working

Hi guys!

I was so excited to find out CiviCrm supports  customized views (search results) via Custom Profiles!

However the Search Results profile does not what it is supposed to - in fact it does nothing.
Just returns the most basic list of contacts' names, completely disregarding the field set I chose as the desired fields to be shown on the search results.

Anyone has had any experience with this feature and has any helpful information?

The search profile I defined is called Search Test, as you can see here:

You need to mark the profile fields in that custom profile as: Visibility = Public, and
  • Results Column. That should cause them to be included as columns in your advanced search results. You can also make this profile the default "view" for advanced search (check Admin > Configure > Global Settings > Search Settings).
