Hi and thanks for offering this forum!

I've read threads talking about this problem with v3.4 but I am having this problem on v4.04 when attempting to import contributions:

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'api/v3/Contribute.php' (include_path='.:/var/chroot/home/content/34/8148534/html/drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm:/var/chroot/home/content/34/8148534/html/drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages:.:/usr/local/php5_3/lib/php') in /home/content/34/8148534/html/drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm/api/api.php on line 248

When I receive this error, the contributions do not import.

I applied the Piet v2 > v3 fix and that changed the above error into a 500 error but the contributions do import (at least, the ones I've checked have).

Is there a fix that both imports the contributions and doesn't return an error?

Same result: 500 error but contributions import.

Something is found while checking for successful import: less than half of the contacts I attempted to import in the first place actually imported.  I received no errors, so I thought they were all there.  So, I have 310 out of an attempted 736 contacts and I'm trying to add 736 contacts' worth of donations.  I wonder if that might be the reason I'm getting 500's?  Apologies in advance if that is a stupid question.
