I want to tag all my activities either under ABC or DEF, so that different admin staff can find their activities easily on a contact's Activities listing page, as well as seeing an overview of all activities
ie
- ABC staff choose / filter all the ABC activities and view them, plus can see the overview
- DEF staff choose / filter all the DEF activities and view them, plus can see the overview

I know that an option is for eg ABC staff to "Find Activity" and then type in a contact's name and filter to see all the ABC activities, but they would then have to go to a different place to see the 'overview', which feels unnecessarily convoluted.

So Question 1: Is there a way to filter the activities listing tab by tag?

Even being able to display the tag on the Activities listing tab for a contact would help, as currently you have to click on each activity separately in order to see its tag. At least that way you could clearly see which activity was which from the listings page, but I can't see how to do that either.

So Question 2: Can the tag be shown up-front next to each activity on the Activities listing tab?

I would be very grateful for any pointers - and please say if I haven't explained this properly.

Thanks Kurund, that is a solution at least. However, it's not really a report I need. I was hoping for something that would allow the admin to stay on the activities listing page and see an clear overview of which activity belonged to which part of the organisation.

I have been wondering if it is possible to do what I want (Question 2) with custom field and API - ie using API to get the custom field (choose ABC or DEF) and display it on the activities listing page.

No success yet though. Is it possible to do that?
