testing with SimpleTest

I have been working on trying to write tests for my custom code with SimpleTest. I have found that what I really need is to run tests against my real DB (a dev copy). Not plain sailing but posting a couple of links here in case anyone is interested (since I'm discussing on IRC ATM)
