Accounting for Lapsed or Overdue Memberships
August 10, 2011, 09:47:04 pm
we're looking for a way to make memberships  retroactive to the originally purchased membership, that is not just create a new one, but if you have a quarterly or monthly payment that is due every quarter or month, and you have missed a few, you would need to have the "renewal" or payment amount apply to the owed or lapsed membership period, so a payment of a certain amount at a certain overdue point, like 2 months overdue, must begin not at the first day of the month paid (for fixed)  but at the last day of the previous membership. If you have a fixed membership period, does price sets solve this by enabling the member to purchase varying "quantities" of a particular membership? Any thoughts appreciated...
