Vintage CiviCRM

Sine the current version(s) of CiviCRM is incompatible with my ISP's servers (keeps making calls to functions they don't have resulting in the WSOD), he suggested rolling back to an earlier version and reloading the DB if necessary. This would just be until I got a site with Drupal 7.n and CiviCRM 4.n running. He says he has Drupal 7 running already, so that should work. He says he could restore from backups, but I'd like to try a clean install. However, Sourceforge only has the current (3.4.4, i think) version. Can anyone suggest a kinder, gentler Civi (I think I saw 3.2 recommended) and tell me where to find it for download? Thanks!

The earliest version of CiviCRM that runs on Drupal 7 is 4.0.0.

That said, if you want to use Drupal 6, all old versions of CiviCRM are on SourceForge actually:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/civicrm/files/civicrm-stable/

Just scroll down.

However I would strongly recommend that you consider another host if yours is not able to run a compatible PHP. CiviCRM's PHP code is fairly standard and there's no reason of which I am aware why any proper host should WSOD due to PHP errors...

As I said in another thread, it turns out the problem was that I did not make ALL the files in the /sites/default/files folder writable when setting up CiviCRm. I think I switched from my Linux desktop to my Windows desktop and they work differently, because I never had this problem with the Linux box.

My ISP has now set up a development site for me and I will get a Drupal 7/CiviCRM 4 site working soon.

Thanks for the help.
