Basic CiviCampaign Documentation

I won 2 CiviCRM books and have read the floss manual and other documentation, but I cannot find a basic set of instructions, examples, use cases, ANYTHING about CiviCampaign.  AND I suspect it might really be useful in programs I'm about to launch!

Could someone kindly point me to anything along this vein?

documenting civicampaign is on the agenda for the book sprint happening later this month in london

for now, the blog posts / exploration are your best source of info
