Error message after adding profile to "View/edit Drupal User account"

I'm trying to add a few "contact" and "individual" fields to my Drupal user screens using a Civi profile so that users can update their own contact records. Simple enough. However, after creating and saving the new profile I am now getting the following error message on the Drupal user's "View" screen:

Notice: Undefined index: in CRM_Core_BAO_UFGroup::getValues() (line 979 of /usr/www/users/.../.../sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/BAO/UFGroup.php).

If I disable the new profile, the above message goes away. Any ideas?

THis may just be another of those pesky 'notices' which you can switch off in drupal settings - a search for drupal notices should provide the solution on the forum as am pretty sure i posted it once.

Thanks for the tip Pete!

I do know how to turn off Drupal's notifications, but while I'm developing a site I like to keep them turned on in case they actually notify me of something important. Since I'm new to CiviCRM I don't know what's a bug or what's normal but it seems to me like there are quite a few of these "pesky notices" as you call them. Surely somebody on this board knows what they mean and how to fix them, right?  :)
