Hi all,

is it just my crummy install that falls in a heap (crypitcally) if mail subject is too long?

sorry I'm not on the current version (on CiviCRM 3.3.5. ) - so dunno if this has been fixed or looked at

upgrading to 3.4 is on my todo list.... but just thought i'd check if others had encountered/fixed this issue

I just had a similar issue 4.0.5...just giving error 500, with no real information. Looking at the drupal watchdog log revealed it was complaining about a delimeter.

Turns out the problem was a hyphen in the subject line. I changed it to a colon and it was fine.

Looks like there is a missing escaping. Would be great if you can investigate.
