Completely uninstalling CiviEngage
August 16, 2011, 07:04:50 pm
I installed CiviEngage a couple of weeks ago, decided I was getting ahead of myself, and then (stupidly) decided to try and remove it.

I made a mess of it.

Today I reinstalled CiviEngage, and I am getting 'Database Error: Syntax Error' whenever I try and create a new report (walk or phone). The demographics tab is not showing up on contacts as indicated in the installation guide (other new tabs are though).

So, I think I need to completely uninstall it. Is this possible? Has anyone done it? Can anyone give me some advice?

Brian

My Error Details accordion won't expand, so this is what I get when I view source on the error page:

Code: [Select]
<div class="crm-section">Database Error Code: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1, 1064</div>
<div class="crm-section">Additional Details: <p><pre>Array
(
    [callback] =&gt; Array
        (
            [0] =&gt; CRM_Core_Error
            [1] =&gt; handle
        )

    [code] =&gt; -2
    [message] =&gt; DB Error: syntax error
    [mode] =&gt; 16
    [debug_info] =&gt; SELECT label, value FROM civicrm_option_value WHERE option_group_id= [nativecode=1064 ** You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]
    [type] =&gt; DB_Error
    [user_info] =&gt; SELECT label, value FROM civicrm_option_value WHERE option_group_id= [nativecode=1064 ** You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]
    [to_string] =&gt; [db_error: message=&quot;DB Error: syntax error&quot; code=-2 mode=callback callback=CRM_Core_Error::handle prefix=&quot;&quot; info=&quot;SELECT label, value FROM civicrm_option_value WHERE option_group_id= [nativecode=1064 ** You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]&quot;]
)

Now if I knew what file this was coming from I might be sorted!
