Renew giving "non-recoverable error" errors
August 17, 2011, 11:32:27 am
I recently enabled the code I posted over in the Membership Validation thread on our site, but have run into a problem. The link that it is giving for renewals is giving our users errors if their membership has existed the grace period. Is this expected? Is there a way around it?

The links are of the form: https://lopsa.org/civicrm/contribute/transact&id=1&mid=###&reset=1, where ### is their membership id. The error they are getting is:
Quote
Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
The page you requested is currently unavailable.

Any ideas how we can get around the error and let the members renew? Or should I just not give them a renew link if the membership has already expired?
