Stuck in "running"
August 17, 2011, 03:12:44 pm
Hello

Other than some bounce problems our mail has been working.  I recently had to cancel a running job, now afer doing this no mailing will ever complete, and stays as "running."  When i vist the cron page, all i get is a blank screen, no errors.  When i try to reset the queue, nothing happens, just lists all mailings.

This is what i get...please advise.  Also, I have almost had it with civicrm mail, can anyone tell me how much it would cost to have a consultant just fix my problems???  thanks

What was the result and the issue and the resolution to this problem.  I am experience a similar problem after CiviMail has been running well for quite some time.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,

Angelo.

Hi Angelo.  Honestly I am not sure what the core issue was.  However, after deleting the "running" email and flushing caches, then restarting the mail the issue was resolved, you might want to try that

May be:

Delete files with cached settings
Drupal:
<drupal-root>/sites/default/files/civicrm/templates_c/* (cached versions of Smarty templates that will be rebuilt)
Joomla:
<joomla-root>/media/civicrm/templates_c/*

See point 6 http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC40/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location

Thank you very much.

The clearing of the cache made it work. So, the cache keeps the changes to the configuration form becoming applicable and operationally valid until it is cleared.

Best regards,
Angelo.
