Where are the upgrade instructions from 4.0.1 to 4.0.5 for Joomla?
August 19, 2011, 05:25:14 am
I'm on Joomla 1.6.3. and CiviCRM 4.0.1 and want to upgrade to 4.0.5 but the only instructions I see explain how to upgrade to 4.0 which I already have?

Will there ever be just a button to click on to upgrade to the new version like WordPress has?

The instructions here:
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC40/Upgrade+Joomla+Sites+to+4.0 will work fine for your upgrade.

Maybe one day, a long time from now. CiviCRM is a far more complicated package than WordPress. :)

Would your org / client be willing to help sponsor this feature? I think more improvements to upgrade / install would benefit the project significantly
