Hi all,

I recently made some changes to my HTML message templates in the "System Workflow Messages" section. Specifically, the "Memberships - Receipt (on-line)" message.

We like to send out HTML messages to people who sign up. After adding some text in the HTML version of my message, the system only spits out text-only.

Is it possible that I added incorrect syntax in the HTML Message section that the system will refuse to send out emails as such? Or is there a magic switch somewhere that lets me force CiviCRM to send out only HTML emails?

I think the fastest way for me to fix the issue would be to revert the message to default, and pick away at the text from there, but I simply wish to know if there's anything else I should look out for.

I'm running CiviCRM 3.2.3.

I would like to know this as well. I understand that plain text is the safer option, but there is no documentation anywhere that I can find as to how to change to HTML emails.
