Newbie - Main Menu Navigation Links Not working / Profiles

Hi,

I am super new to CiviCRM. I am in the process of upgrading a site from 3.2 to 3.4 in Joomla 1.5.23. I decided to do it locally on my computer instead of live in case of any issues. The upgrade went good but when I brought in the site DB all the main menu links having to do with Civi don't work. I select a profile view for a job application and it gives me a 404 error or Could not find the required contact id parameter (id=) for viewing a contact record with a Profile.. Not sure how to fix this or get this working before I go live.

I don't know if I should go ahead and upgrade live and hope the forms work....

Can you help???

I never used CiviCRM with Joomla, so I can not help you there. However, I will recommend you NOT  to upgrade live before you have solved this issue?

Ok... But I need some help here I can't wait another week for someone to answer. I assumed that was what this forum was for. Do you know someone who can answer my question???
