Drupal password no longer works aftter CiviCRM install
August 22, 2011, 10:39:53 am
I am working on trying on trying to get Civicrm up and running.  It says that I have a successful install but now when I go to log into the Drupal with either root or any full permission user I can't get into the web site.  This is a local install.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, it has taken four days to get to this point and I am relly looking forward to using CIVICRM.

Installing Drupal can not change your password. If you can't get it in, and the recover password feature doesn't work (it won't if your local PHP can't send email) then you could install a fresh Drupal in another location (like a directory) and then copy your encoded password from the users table from the new database to the old. Using phpMyAdmin or a similar tool, this shouldn't be hard.

I was able to access the site many times until I installed Civicrm.  I've tried doing cache flushes,  Stopping Starting the Server, and ensuring that settings.php matches my login info.  Still can't login to the site.
