Find Participants -> where are the fields defined
August 24, 2011, 10:55:42 am
Dear All,

i like to change/extend the "Find participants" -search result by some individual fields from participant-role.

I checked this board regarding similar requests. Yes, there are some. Should be no problem
to hook some code...

But: Where is currently defined, which result-fields are displayed for "find participants"?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

hey oliver:

its a bit harder than it should be right now. This has come up a lot in the past few weeks. We are at a code sprint right now and i'm hoping to solve it.

Can you hang on for a few more days :) We are having daily blog posts on the things we are working on at the sprint

Hey,

no problem. Thanks

If you need additional testing-support for this "Event-Participant->make it easier-Feature"; just let me know.

I just added and committed:

http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-8758

this new code is very well documented (IMO) and the example in civitest.module.sample is quite complex. So you might wan to patch your current install and give it a shot. Please check and give us feedback so we can tweak/improve if needed before the 3.4.6 release

The patch will appear here:

https://fisheye2.atlassian.com/changelog/CiviCRM?cs=35970

in the next few hours (mid morning GMT)

Hi,

thanks for the patch. But we need this patch for a Civicrm 4.0.1 (upgrade to latest version is possible).

What can I do ?

Kind regards
Oliver

that same patch will work for the 4.0 series

3.4 and 4.0 are exactly the same except for the Joomla version they support

3.4 == joomla 1.5
4.0 == joomla 1.6 and later
4.1 == joomla 1.7
