InnoDb missing
August 24, 2011, 12:55:11 pm
I have a Drupal (6.22) site with CivCRM (3.4.5)

While most things work, I am having issues with speed, mail and a few other annoyances.

I have just discovered that my host does not support InnoDB which, when I check the documentation, is required.

My host is running MySQL 5.0.91 and PHP 5.2.12

Is this the likely cause of my problems? What are my options?

I don't think so actually. InnoDB is required by CiviCRM and without it, you can (and will eventually most likely) get errors. But having InnoDB won't make your site any faster.

What are my options?

1. Ask your host to enable InnoDB
2. Get a new host
