Possibly inaccurate localisation statement on installation screen
August 27, 2011, 03:42:52 pm
When installing CiviCRM - and I think this is true of a number of recent versions as well as both current stable versions, on the installation screen (at /sites/all/modules/civicrm/install/index.php) it states something to the effect that if you want to install CiviCRM to use languages other than US English you should install the localisation files. The clear implication here is that if you do install the i10n directory then there will be additional language options available from the language drop-down on the install screen (why else have a drop-sown on the install screen?).

When I have installed the i10n directory prior to installation, additional languages are not offered through this install drop-down, which suggests a bug in the install script. Of course I can localise after installation, but it would be better if this option worked at the point of installation. Any one else seen this?
