Does CiviCRM allow access to Drupal content based on Subscription?
January 28, 2008, 02:25:27 pm
Just like the title says, I need to be able to allow access to certain drupal content based on subscription.

If subscriber/member chooses 'option A' they should be only able to access certain content based on a Drupal Role that is also guided byTaxonomy Access.

Also if subscriber/member chooses option A, B AND C they should be able to access all content allowed under those options.

Can CiviCRM do this automatically?

Check out the CiviMember component - to create your various subscriber / membership types. Then check out a new Drupal module which is designed to synchronize CiviMember memberships to Drupal roles:

The module is brand new - and the developer is looking for help testing it out - so you'll need to be willing to do that - but I suspect this functionality is going to be picked up by quite a few sites quickly, so hopefully any glitches will get ironed out :-)
