Hello, I am new to CiviCRM, and I am trying to figure out how to do something.

When someone registers for an event, I want them to imediatelly fill out a form with specific information, They can take as long as they want to fill out the form, meaning they can fill out a few questions and then come back, through their profile, to review them, but once they do a final submit, they can no longer access de form. Is this posible to do in CiviCRM has anyone else done something like this.

I am creating a custom profile for them to access the form, but how do I make it unavailable once they submit it.

If it doesn't need to be tied in to civicrm then in Drupal we have done similar using Webform which allows user to save and continue later - not sure if joomla has an equivalent.

In theory you could also just give people a link to a Profile which they keep going back to when they are ready to add more info.
