Processing is stuck
August 29, 2011, 11:04:14 am
I created a new event that will allow people to register online.  I go trhough the process, but at the moment of confirmation it just gets stuck and does not continue to the next step.

Anybody know why this might be happening???

Thanks

Jennifer Bertha

Could be the PDF receipt generation is using up too much CPU as per http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,19801.0.html

Try to disable PDF receipts and see if that helps.

I think I figured out the problem, but not the solution.

I have the URL forwarded and Masked, when I go through the actual URL of my webpage´s name it gets stuck, but when I go through the actual full address (not forwarded) it works.

Can anyone help me out on this one.  I have another (non CiviCRM) cart set up with paypal, and this does not happen.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you

Appending this here in case others find it. But upon upgrading we had users 'hanging' on the final screen. The earlier version had been set to include PDFs.
When I went to check the settings in the UI I saw that the 'send pdf' was neither set to Yes or No.
Not sure if that was the cause of the 'hanging'
Setting it to 'off' (or is it 'no') then caused the hanging to cease, so will be leaving it off.
But am left wondering if that particular upgrade jump eg 3.3.6 to 3.4.5 results in the 'yes'no' setting getting lost.
