CiviMail 4.0.5 - archive mailing

I'm having problems finding the documentation on what the archive link does on the CiviMail mailing list where delete used to be.   Any clues or thoughts?

We're now on version Drupal 7, CiviCRM 4.0.5 and figuring out the differences from version 1.9

I'm interested in this too. I'd like some details on how archiving has been implemented. We are still on 1.9 but moving to 3.2.3. Will this be backported

This is the only place in version 4.0.5 that I've seen the term archive used.  Seems a little odd not to give an archive or delete option, but maybe archive is best, just not sure what happens to it and how we (later) clear the archives out.

Also somewhat related, I just noticed that when a mailing is not complete, but saved for later, there does not seem to be a way to delete it.  I suppose I could send to a small group and then archive, but seems like I'm missing something here.

Will this is strange.  I just noticed that there is a new menu choice under mailings for Archived mailings, which does show the archived mailings.   What is strange is still no option to delete the archived.

.... Looking under Administer CiviMail and Administration Console - don't see anything there either.   Any way see where the archives went.

Similar issue with Draft and Unscheduled mailings - how do we get rid of these without sending out?
