CiviSync 1.0 Beta Issue
August 29, 2011, 05:20:09 pm
Hi,

I'm not sure whether this is the appropriate area or not to post this question. But here are the problem details I have been experiencing.

Here are the actions I have performed to get to the error I am experiencing:

1. Copy the files from your respective installation type (Drupal) to your server. This has been done
2. Close Outlook and run Setup from CiviSync folder on windows machine. For this action I had to install Visual Studio 2010 in order to get the setup to recognise the .vsto deployment manifest.
3. Start Outlook and you will see a CiviSync Button at the top. I see the CiviSync button in Outlook 2007.
4. Click the button and click settings
5. Enter settings as per your setup and requirements. For settings I have chosen and entered the following information (see below)

Installation Type: Drupal radio button selected.
CiviCRM URL: servername:portname/civicrm is this correct or should I be targeting another URL for this?
Sync Frequency: 30 mins

I apply these settings.

I then click on the synchronise button. And when synchronising users from CiviCRM to outlook it crashes (See attached image).

Any help towards a resolution for this would be greatly appreciated.
