Hi all,

Does anyone have experience getting civimail to work on a SiteGround-hosted site? (CiviCRM on Drupal) 

We have outgoing working, but incoming is not working - they do not seem to have the right version of SOAP available.  (PEAR, not the builtin PHP SOAP)

They are saying that we need to go to VPS in order to get the builtin SOAP, which is lovely, but $80 a month was not my plan especially for this one feature.

Can anyone suggest another way to get civimail working in this environment, or does anyone have specific siteground experience with this?

You might want to check on CiviMail SMTP service provided by UAS.

Would this work without SOAP on our side?

Yes - CiviSMTP handles all that for you :-)
