Throttle Configuration
September 01, 2011, 04:38:11 pm
Our Host has limited us to 6000 emails an hour. We have 22,000 emails.  How do we configure the following to break our total batch into 5950/hr to run hourly?

Mailer Batch Limit ________________
Throttle email delivery by setting the maximum number of emails sent during each CiviMail run (0 = unlimited).

Mailer Job Size ______________
If you want to utilize multi-threading enter the size you want your sub jobs to be split into (0 = disables multi-threading and
processes mail as one single job - batch limits still apply)

Mailer CRON job limit _____________
The maximum number of mailer delivery jobs executing simultaneously (0 = allow as many processes to execute as started by cron)

Thanks!

The "Mailer Batch Limit" is how many emails to send each cron run. So it depends how often your CiviMail cron job runs. Do you know how often that is?
