Civimail sends empty email to some of the addresses

I'm using Civimail to send newsletters to about 1100 addresses 10 times a year. Since a few months some weird things happened.

I start Civimail as allways with the link http://www.myhost/administrator/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/mailing/queue&reset=1
then I get the message: Internal Server Error - The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

But the mailing is sent out, only to a part of my addresses. Triggering again is needed to complete the mailing. That is new, in the past the mailing was completed in one go.

My guess is that I run against some php or system limits and then some of the messages are corrupted.

Trouble is, I can't find any extra requirements for using Civimail. Anyone can help?

Can you ask your host if an Apache error is logged? They should be able to determine what the error is.
