G'Day,

- CiviCRM 4.0.5

I was wondering if it was possible to automatically set the "Share Address With" to the organisation when I add a relationship to a contact where that relationship is employee? Currently I have to remember to set the "Share Address With" which is error prone and inconsistent.

Not by default, but that's a good idea.

You could develop a simple module that automatically sets the shared address (using the pre hook) when there is a current employer. If you write it, please share it, I'm sure others could benefit from it.

Just a note - if you do it the other way around - sharing an address with an organisation (for better or worse) automatically creates a current employer relationship
